Day 1: Arrive in Vancouver
Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to discover the oceanside city of Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver
Day 2: Vancouver
Today Revel in the natural beauty as you wind your way along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler with a stop at Shannon Falls to feel the mist from the roaring water. Views of the surrounding snowcapped mountain peaks and Howe Sounds coastal fjord are brilliant. Explore the many shops and restaurants of Whistler Village and experience one of the many activities and attractions including the Aboriginal Cultural Museum where you can learn about Canadas First Nations People. Day 3: Vancouver to Victoria
Today you will be transferred by coach and ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island, passing the rugged coastline and tranquil beaches of the Gulf Islands. Make your way to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, with its maritime heritage and colonial charm. Overnight in Victoria
Day 4: Victoria
Today embark on an exciting seaplane adventure, that will provide spectactular vistas of downtown Victoria and the Strait of Juan De Fuca. The afternoon is at your leisure, perhaps visit Butchart Gardens or explore the Government Buildings. Overnight in Victoria
Day 5: Victoria to Vancouver Airport to Yellowknife
Transfer by Ferry and Coach to Vancouver Airport for your flight to Yellowknife. On arrival at Yellowknife Airport, take the shuttle to your downtown Yellowknife hotel and check-in. The remainder of the day is free to explore the local area. Overnight in Yellowknife
Day 6: Yellowknife
After a day at leisure, in the early evening, you are picked up, fitted for your winter clothing package and are transferred to the wilderness island Aurora Lodge on Great Slave Lake. Set on one of the most magnificent lakes in Canada and under skies that are free of urban light pollution, the swirling lights of the Aurora Borealis paint a canvas of shifting blues, reds and greens above you. Enjoy delicious hot drinks and snacks in the comfort of the viewing area, later on returning to your Yellowknife hotel for the evening. Overnight in Yellowknife
Day 7: Yellowknife
A second day is yours to discover the local history and culture of this northern city. The echoes of its frontier past still resonate throughout the streets to this day. Perhaps have some lunch at Bullock’s Bistro – a famous local eatery created from the shell of an old trading post in historic Old Town. Or perhaps visit the Prince of Whales Northern Heritage Centre, featuring a collection of art and artifacts from across the Northwest Territories. Day 8: Yelloknife to Vancouver
Today you check out of your hotel and take the shuttle to Yellowknife Airport as your package comes to an end. Fly from Yellowknife to Vancouver.
